Ogubi is a relentless exponent of human rights and talent based economic empowerment programs who is also passionate in African History, art and social justice. As an art activist he successfully led petitions on the inclusion of spoken word poetry in the Kenya Music/Drama festivals. He has extensive knowledge of the Eastern Africa art scene having held artists trainings and events in the region. His expertise ranges from artists management, project Management, advocacy and youth participation, event organization and refugees and minority rights. Ogubi is a Young African Leadership Initiative Fellow (2018) and The Next Economy Fellow (2018). He is also the founder of Horn of Africa Artists Movement (HAAM) and Co-Founder of Poetry Pot, where we organized spoken word poetry events and workshops around the university. He holds a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Sociology and a certificate in Korean studies from the University of Nairobi. He also holds a Certificate in Digital Marketing Analytics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
