Masafu Is a passionate legislative drafter and seasoned lawyer. She
has been part of a team of industrious parliamentary counsels
involved in the amendment of key statutes in Kenya ,at the office of the Hon. Attorney General and
Department of Justice.
Her expertise ranges from sound legal research, legal advisory and Legislative drafting.
As a former County Youth Leader in Trans Nzoia County, she has successfully mentored and
implemented educational programs for young girls from North Eastern Kenya (Daadaab,
Dagahaley, IFO 1, IFO 2 refugee camps)
Currently, Masafu is the Program Assistant (Legal Aid & Innovative Advocacy) at the The National
Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (NGLHRC) providing support for the Organization
and execution of Legal Aid and Outreach Programs.
She hold a LLB Hons, from the Moi University and Post graduate diploma from Kenya School of
Law.
She Is an avid environment ambassador, and hold a pageant title of ' Miss Environment Kenya-
Trans Nzoia County ' 2017 among other awards.
