Rachel is a Kenyan based floet who fuses both poetry and music in her performances. Guided by her mantra, ‘to live life is to love love’, her poetry educates, motivates and entertains. Her vision is to use art to spur positive change in the society. She has experience in Event planning, Research, Conflict and Peace Building, Artist and stage management, experiential artistry, Voice Overs, Initiation of Humanitarian works and Mentorship. Currently, she is the Program Assistant at Peace Tree Network, an organization that focuses on Peace building and Conflict Resolution. She has previously worked PAWA254, HAART Kenya, SCAD Kenya, The Great African Caravan and This is Africa. As a performing artist, she has been involved in campaigns such as #SafeMigration #Refupoet #FormNiDiva and #IamJuliani. She has featured on the Mail&Guardian, True Love Magazine East Africa, KTN, KBC, Ghetto Radio and Radio Kaya. She holds a Bsc in Applied Statistics with Computing, Certificate in Proposal Writing from Asset Africa, Creative Entrepreneurship Certificate from Harvard University, and Non-Violent Resistance and National Healing and Reconciliation from Hekima University.
